This airline delay takes the cake

I was recently on a business trip in Florida. As I was to fly home from Tampa, our flight was delayed. No one at the gate would tell us why. We boarded the plane and took off.  At this point, the flight attendant gets on the intercom to explain. We started out in Ft. Lauderdale. Everyone boarded the plane. Once the flight took off, a medium sized dog came out of a duffel bag and was running up and down the aisle. A passenger snuck the dog in their duffle without paying for a ticket. The pilot turned the plane around and landed where they evicted the passenger and dog. After thinking about this for a moment, I asked the flight attendant, how did the dog get through security?  Good question. No one knows. The joys of travel…to be continued!
